Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: SW veering W Wind Stength: F3-5 Surf / Sea State: 2' chop Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: OK Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 29.6mph (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 11.5miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
Got back from working in Pompy, no board so no chance of sailing. And I
decided I had time for a quickie at Brog. Wind was moderate, 7.5 type
weather. Rigged the 6.5 (biggest I can use at the moment). I had a nice 20
minutes or so then BANG. The wind went ballistic. Tony got flattened and
aborted. I stopped, outhauled to the MAX and had some fun. Lovely 1 to 2'
brog-waves. Well overpowered but no time so I stuck it out. Had about
1.5hours and the wind started to drop again. Fully sunny. Fab little blast!
